Concerts, trade fairs, conferences and sports: a great success for Espace Mayenne since its opening

Espace Mayenne, in Laval, a multi-functional site opened in June 2021, is doing well. Chamber officials have just positively evaluated the procedures and programs that have been implemented for nearly 3 years.

300 days of occupation in 2023

In the so-called first classic year without restrictions and standards, Espace Mayenne welcomed 220,000 people for concerts, shows, futsal and basketball matches, trade fairs and business seminars. The goal was not to have a deficit, which was the case with sales of €1,500,000, a result slightly above expectations.

“We meet the expectations of the general public.”

Concerts and shows are the showcase of the site and represent 30% of revenue. The second category is sporting events, 20% of revenues, with the French futsal team coming in particular. Then the part that is less obvious but brings the most importance: professional events (corporates and associations), 50% of revenue.

In 2024, Espace Mayenne is planning about ten more concerts and shows. About thirty dates have already been revealed: Laurent Guira, Véronique Sanson, Patrick Bruel, Gems and the Shaka Punk group for two consecutive evenings.
