She has recreated her own version of Hobbiton with two charming units. The hotel is close to the famous movie set. Woodlyn Park also offers a one-of-a-kind hotel experience that is sure to delight any Lord of the Rings fan. Although New Zealand won’t open its doors to international travelers until April 2022, planning for travel to the Hobbit could begin as early as 2021.

With round doors, windows, and grass growing above the units, the hotel units are virtually identical to those in the 2001 movie. Accordingly, this allows audiences to fully immerse themselves in the magic of Hobbiton. Accommodation at the Hobbit seems to have been more modern, suitable only for hardcore “Lord of the Rings” fans. However, the units provide a great base for any visitor to rest before experiencing their trip. This includes the famous Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Mangabuhu Natural Bridge, and many sites from the trilogy.

According to Tripadvisor reviews, the units are clean and comfortable. However, one should not expect the quality of a five star hotel. Each hobbit cave can accommodate up to six people. There is a double bed and two bunk beds, and the units have large bathrooms, kitchenettes, and living areas.
