He arrived “on the run” from Vittorio Veneto and takes second place in the 18km S1 Half Marathon, one of the eight races at the 2022 AICS Corsa della Bora. His name is Martino De Nardi, he is 25 years old, he has many sporting successes behind him, and Sunday 9 January was marked by the main event of the winter trail in Italy, which takes place at the beginning of each year in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Corsa della Pura, in this seventh edition (January 7-9, 2022), has amassed over 2,200 registrations from athletes from all over the world, from Germany to Eastern Europe to New Zealand. A competition with eight races of different distances (from the 164 km Hypertail to the Half Marathon, won by the young De Nardi) and even more diverse natural scenarios in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Slovenia.

An event that includes all the characteristics of the landscape of the territory. The 164 kilometers began, in particular, from the snow-covered slopes of Mount Kanin and crossed several municipalities of Friuli, passing through Slovenia to the rocky coasts of Trieste, literally from the mountains to the sea.

Corsa della Pura is organized by Asd SentieroUNO in Triestesponsored by New Balance and supported by Fvg Region, Promoturismo Fvg, and the municipalities affected by the event. An event in collaboration with Coni, Aics, Fidal, Trieste Atletica, Wwf and Progetto Lince. The cheese protection association of Montasio, the San Daniel Ham consortium and some companies belonging to the Via Friuli Venezia Giulia wines and flavors and/or holders of the IOSONOFVG brand supplied local products.
