Blizzard Talks Open Beta, Gear and Strongholds – Diablo IV
Open beta version of Diablo IV rapidly advancing towards. During the new livestream, Joe Shelley, Director of Games, Art Peshkov, Lead World Designer and Meng Song, Lead Systems Designer, shared more information about this phase of testing as well as Strongholds and equipment. Open beta focus
During open beta and early access weekendsIn this game, players will be able to closely explore the early game of Diablo IV. This includes the first taste of the cross drive Introduction and the entire Law 1. first district, cracked topsis yours to move around as you wish – run across rugged landscapes and slash demons.
For Open Beta and Early Access Weekends, your character can only level up Level 25, but you can keep ripping through the fiends until the Open Beta ends. Make your mark on the Sanctuary by clearing hordes of Infernals from the dungeons, completing exciting quests given by the locals, and collecting powerful loot from fallen enemies.
Simply put, this is your chance to battle the power of the burning inferno before our June 6th release. However, the experiment is not finished and you may experience performance issues, outages, and encounter things that simply don’t work. After the Open Beta ends, we’ll evaluate all the feedback we’ve received and make changes as needed. We look forward to trying this small taste of what Diablo IV has to offer.

Open beta details
Open trial period and early access on weekends
- Early access begins in open beta March 17th at 9 a.m. PST and concludes March 20 at 12 p.m. PT.
- Open Beta begins March 24th at 9 a.m. PST and concludes March 27th at 12 p.m. PT.
With Open Beta and Early Access weekends approaching, the ability to Download the game early will become available. We will update this section with this information in the future.
Assume your turn

Note that defeating demons while near any player will give you an additional 5% experience and 10% if you are close to a member of your party.

Play the Open Beta, and lead the pack
It wouldn’t be a trip to Sanctuary without earning a stash of unique rewards along the way. As you play Diablo IV during the open beta and early access weekends, showcase your wanderer’s prowess by collecting everything Three Open Beta bonuses. Players who unlock these rewards will receive them once Diablo IV launches.

Open Beta PC Specs

During both Open Beta and at launch, Diablo IV will not support ray tracing, but this is a feature we plan to add sometime after launch.

Early access redeem beta code
Do you have an early beta access code** for Diablo IV? It’s time to retrieve it! If you previously purchased the game digitally, early access to the Open Beta will automatically be available on the platform for which you previously purchased – no further action is required from you. But for those who have an early access code, the instructions are listed below. More information on how to download the beta will be available as the beta gets closer.
