Baldur's Gate 3 players can finally pacify Shadowheart since the sixth update
Since Update 6, Baldur's Gate 3 players can finally comfort Shadowheart at a crucial moment in her story.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the Baldur's Gate 3 update after Larian Studios provided several teasers for the upcoming new anime, including new kissing scenes for Shadowheart and Astarion.
The community came together to collectively release the patch on Valentine's Day. However, Larian had other plans and decided to attack the community with funny Pengu gifs before the patch was released on February 16.

Now that the patch has been released, players are excited to be able to hold Shadowheart for an emotional moment in the game's final act. Warning, spoilers for Chapter 3!
Baldur's Gate players can finally comfort Shadowheart with a hug since update six
In Chapter 3, there are two options for the fate of Shadowheart's parents. Players can choose to save them or let them perish. Regardless of the choice, the scene ends with Shadowheart crying.
Before patch 6 was released, the player had no other choice but to sit there, uncomfortable, and let Shadowheart deal with her feelings on her own. However, players now have the option to comfort her with a hug. This makes sense, especially if the player is romantically involved with her.

Other members of the community were also happy to hear the news about Shadowheart. However, some took the opportunity to point out that another character could use a hug after a traumatic moment.
” I want to be able to do this with Astarion when he kills Cazador and starts crying said another commenter. ” I just want to be able to hold him in my arms.”.
Larian Studios has noticed players wanting to interact more with their romantic partners in the game, meaning that more updates related to other relationships could be added in future Baldur's Gate 3 patches.
