Axiom Space will help send the first Saudi woman into space

American society Axiom Space and the Saudi Space Authority (SSC) Announcing a historic partnership to send two Saudi astronauts into space, including the country’s first female astronaut.
The two entities will cooperate to prepare astronauts to conduct meaningful scientific research in space, while using advanced space technologies and scientific innovations. This flying opportunity is scheduled earlier than 2023.
The Kingdom, in an official press release summarizing the new Saudi astronaut program, highlighted the initiative’s scientific focus, which will prioritize scientific experiments and research in areas such as health, sustainability and space technology. Not a word about the astronaut. Nothing more than the appearance of women in the photo signing of the agreement.
Axiom’s broad range of services includes astronaut and flight training, access to training facilities and trainers, instrumentation and safety certification, and in-orbit operations management.
