AWS will open some data centers in New Zealand

SEATTLE – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), a collective company Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN), today announced that it intends to create an Infrastructure Region in New Zealand (Aotearoa) in 2024. The new AWS Asia Pacific Region (Auckland) will consist of three availability zones (Availability Zones, AZ) and will join 81 other Availability Zones in 25 different AWS geographies at launch.
