Beninese Anicet Gabriel Koshova is now the Ambassador of Russian Education and Science. He received this honor on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the Russian Ministry of Education.
Appointment of Beninese Anicet Gabriel Kochova, former ambassador of the Republic of Benin to Moscow. He is one of 11 Russian Education and Science Ambassadors appointed by Russia. This distinction is an acknowledgment of its commitment to education and international cooperation. Thanks to his many works, he contributed to strengthening relations between Benin and Russia in the field of education.
Anicet Gabriel Kochova served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Benin to the Russian Federation from 2012 to 2016. In 1996 he founded the Association of Foreign Students of Russia. He led this association until 2013. He was president of the High Council of Beninese Abroad (HCBE). Anicet Gabriel Kochova is a professor at several universities in Russia.
The former ambassador also participated in the sports field by being the Secretary General of the International Federation of Interuniversity Sports. The professor graduated from the Moscow Oil and Gas Institute IMGubkin (1987) in the field of geology and exploration of oil and gas fields.
Al-Beniny now holds the position of President of the International Youth Institute, Deputy Secretary-General of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization, and Director-General of the International Coordinating Council for Graduates of Educational Institutions.
