Alice Robinson fastest in Orcières-Merlette
It was predictable and soon became apparent. New Zealand’s Alice Robinson, a three-time World Cup winner in the Giant, arrives this week for the European Cup stage at Orcières-Merlette to accumulate kilometers and advance in speed.
On Tuesday morning, with his last bib (58!), the little New Zealander, deprived of a giant in Courchevel due to Covid, set the best time for his first training session on the high alpine track. She was five hundred ahead of Esther Basler’s Brianconese, who intends to shine at home.

Errard and Paslier in the top ten
During the second practice, contested by a step, Alice Robinson, who was still No. 58 on her back, finished eighth, 1″ 49 behind Austrian Christina Agger. Haut-Savoyarde Anouck Errard was the Blue’s best in this second session (6 in 1″ 38) while Peslier had the tenth fastest time (1″ 74).
