A new Legendary character should make his debut in Pokémon Go
A new trailer for Pokémon Go Fest 2024 suggests that a new legendary Pokémon from the mainline games will finally make its way to mobile games.
Pokémon Go has gradually introduced new Pokémon into the game since its launch. This makes a great excuse for events, because it means there's always something new that players will want to catch, giving them an incentive to engage with what's happening at that moment.
One place where Mythical and Legendary Pokémon are often added to Pokémon Go is during the Pokémon Go Festivals, which are held in various cities around the world. One example of this is Pokémon Go Fest 2023, which introduced Diancie to Pokémon Go.

Marshadow is a Fighting/Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. As a legendary Pokemon, Marshadow can only be obtained through external events and cannot be captured in-game, the other way to obtain it is through trading.
Marshadow also played an important role in the movie I Choose You!, which featured a version of Ash from a different reality than the Pokémon anime. In this film, Marshadow is strangely connected to Ho-Oh, serving as a guide to those chosen by the great Phoenix of Johto.

Niantic said it will be revealing more details about Pokémon Go Fest 2024 soon, so it won't be long before Shadow Warrior Pokémon become available for players to catch around the world.
