What's new in Android 15 Beta 3?

The stability provided by this new version of Android 15 means that developers can now integrate new APIs without fear of Google rolling back their work with a future update. Moreover, among the new features brought by this third beta, we note the integration of passkey support into one step. In other words, developers can use biometric security to allow communication with their applications without duplicating tasks: no need to go through Google's password manager. This new feature was announced during Google I/O 2024, so it has now been integrated directly into Android 15.

Among other features offered by Android 15, we note the arrival of better battery life (up to 3 additional hours), the option to use a private space to hide the most sensitive data for each user, the ability to automatically lock a stolen smartphone or a tool to free up space on your smartphone without deleting it. Important data.

The final version of Android 15, available for all Android devices, will be available at the end of summer. As a reminder, Android 14 got its first public release on October 4, while Android 13 was released at the end of August.
