ZDF changes the program – these programs have been canceled today
Germany is out, but the World Cup continues – and with it the changes in the program. Viewers should tune in to these shows today.
This time the FIFA Women’s World Cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand. It all started on July 20 in Auckland. A total of 64 matches will be played before the winners are crowned at Sydney Stadium on August 20.
For Germany, the dream of winning a major title came to an end after only two weeks. On August 3, the German national team was eliminated after a 1-1 draw against South Korea. However, the end of the FIFA World Cup does not mean the end of the World Cup. ARD and ZDF will continue to show the games.
Aug. 12 at ZDF
Two matches are scheduled for Saturday: Australia vs. France and England vs. Colombia. Both matches will be shown on ZDF. Reporting starts at 8:30 am. The first game starts 30 minutes later.
- 9 am Australian and French time
- 12:30 pm: England – Colombia
Then, moderator Sven Voss and expert Kathryn Lehmann will analyze the game together. Coverage of the second match will continue at 12 noon. This starts at 12:30 PM.
In order to be able to show both games on TV, ZDF had to remove several formats from the program. Popular programs such as “Notruf Hafen Kante” and “Kreuzfahrt ins Gluck” could not be shown due to the World Cup. However, “SOKO Wismar” will not be canceled and runs at 11.15 between the two matches.
- 8.30 am: Children’s programme
- 10.25 a.m.: “Emergency Call Port Edge”
- 12:00 p.m.: Documentation
- 12.15 noon: TV movie
- 1:40 p.m.: “Cruise to Happiness”
ZDF did not stop reporting until 3:10 p.m. Then it continues with the usual programme. Bares for Rares does not need to be cancelled. Viewers don’t have to do without “The Rosenheim Cops,” either.
In the coming days, the public can expect a lot of changes in the program, but mostly related to the morning. Due to the time difference between New Zealand and Australia, football matches start between 2 am and 2 pm German time. And so the evenings passed.
