The FLN leads with 105 seats out of 407, followed by independent candidates with 78 seats. Mohamed Al-Sharafi, the country’s president, told reporters that the country’s main Islamist formation, the Society for Peace Movement, which announced its victory after the elections, is in third place with 64 seats.
