The festival will include works… Franz Michael Demmling It was composed for various ensembles at the Ebingen School of Music.

As part of the musical evening, a “Concert for Low Strings and Violin” composed by the CELLISSIMO ensemble will be presented. The work includes 16 students playing cello, violin and double bass.

CELLISSIMO consists of students from the music schools Lauffen, Weinsberg and Eppingen, who premiered the piece the previous evening at the first concert in the ballroom of the Klinikum im Weissenhof in Weinsberg.
CELLISSIMO was founded in 2006 by Oliver Krüger and since then has performed in various groups at more than 100 events, participating in music competitions and workshops organized in Germany, Poland and Belarus. The band’s creed is to work together to develop new ideas across genres for a concert program that strives to engage with the music in a lively way and dares to experiment with its own arrangements and improvisations.
Berlin composer Franz Michael Demling was director of the music school for more than 40 years.

In his numerous compositions, he also devoted himself particularly to educational literature, ranging from solo music to chamber music to orchestral works. Admission to the event in Ebingen is free – donations are required. In preparation for the concerts, Weinsberg Municipal Music School is organizing a concert starting October 30. Cello workshop for advanced cellists until November 3, 2023.
