Zelensky fears something “especially harsh” from Russia this week
August 24 will be a double special day for Ukraine. On Wednesday, the country celebrates the country’s declared independence on August 24, 1991.
Today, this national holiday falls on the sixth month of the Russian army’s conquest of the country.
In his video address on Saturday evening, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted this “teacher”.
“Since February 24, during these 178 days, the Ukrainians have proven that our people are invincible, and our fighter is invincible”did he say.
“For the victory of Ukraine, we still have to fight, we still have to do a lot, we still have to persevere and, unfortunately, a lot of pain”Warning his people of a potentially difficult week, he added:
We have to realize that this week Russia may try to do something particularly heinous, something particularly cruel. This is our enemy. In every week of the past six months, Russia has always acted disgustingly and cruelly.
