ZDF should cancel popular formats
Germany is out, but the World Cup continues – and with it the changes in the program. Viewers should tune in to these shows today.
This time the FIFA Women’s World Cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand. It all started on July 20 in Auckland. A total of 64 matches will be played before the winners are crowned at Sydney Stadium on August 20.
For Germany, the dream of winning a major title came to an end after only two weeks. On August 3, the German national team was eliminated after a 1-1 draw against South Korea. However, the end of the FIFA World Cup does not mean the end of the World Cup. ARD and ZDF will continue to show the games.
Aug. 15 at ZDF
Only one match scheduled for Tuesday: Spain vs Sweden. The game will be shown on ZDF. The report starts at 9.35am, 25 minutes after it was launched.
- 10:00 Spain – Sweden
Next, moderator Sven Voss and expert Kathryn Lehmann will analyze the first semi-final match with Stefan Lerch, coach of the women’s team at TSG Hoffenheim.
In order to be able to show the game on TV, ZDF had to remove several formats from the program. Popular programs such as “Notruf Hafen Kante” and “SOKO Wismar” cannot be shown due to the World Cup.
- 10.30 a.m.: “Emergency Call Port Edge”
- 11.15am: “SOKO Wismar”
At 12.25pm, ZDF finishes reporting. Then it continues with the usual programme. The “turntable” will not fail, but will start later than usual. Viewers don’t have to do without “Bares for Rares” and “Die Rosenheim Cops,” either.
In the coming days, the public expects only a few changes in the program. Games are held on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays only. The Grand Final will be shown on August 20 at 12 noon.
