XDefiant Update Patch Note as of June 4: Matchmaking and party bugs have been fixed
The June 4 XDefiant update is the second pre-season patch, rolling out several fixes. Here is the content of the June 4, 2024 patch.
Like the May 24 patch, the June 4 update was posted at 3:00 p.m. Ubisoft has confirmed that there will be an hour-long server downtime. Although it is not as important as the latter, This patch Fixes some issues where party members with different crossplay settings were unable to enter the game.
The state of input-based matchmaking settings is now updated correctly after editing on Xbox consoles.

XDefiant June 4 update patch notes
The XDefiant Y1S0.2 patch mainly fixes issues with players having difficulty joining lobbies or trying to find games with different settings enabled.
It does not include gameplay updates, movement changes, or nerfs to snipers as many players had hoped.

- In Groups, we now offer a more restrictive cross-play setting between group members as it applies to the entire group. We also fixed an issue where party members with different cross-play settings could not find a game.
- Fixed an issue with incorrect player names appearing on some social media screens.
- Fixed a crash resulting from spamming opening/closing group invitations.
- On consoles, Ubisoft Connect group invites can appear to come from friends on Xbox or PlayStation Network. We've fixed this and other invitation-related issues.

- Fixed some terrain textures being missing when players join ongoing games on certain maps.
- Input-based matchmaking status now updates correctly after editing on Xbox.
- Fixed an issue on PS5 where players could sneak into unintended locations via PS5 Activities.
