Xbox announces Space Jam for Xbox Game Pass and 3 dedicated consoles | Xbox One

Ricky’s idea was to create a classic “beat ’em up”, and Narayan added some special mechanics to it, all in keeping with the classic ’90s arcade games.

Space Jam: A New Legacy – The game will therefore feature the characters of Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny and new Tune Squad member LeBron James while facing the Goon Squad in a goofy basketball game.

A dishonest AI named Al G. Rhythm has trapped our heroes inside Warner’s servers, forcing the Tune Squad to make their way through the virtual army created by Al G while searching for four pieces of the “Legacy Code” that will allow them access to the secret location of the infamous villain. .

The new Space Jam: A Legacy will be released on July 1, 2021 as a perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members and will be available to everyone for free starting July 15. The game was developed by Digital Eclipse, an arcade-style studio.

Other news accompanying the movie’s release is that three Xbox consoles in Space Jam colors have been imagined by the Xbox teams.

Each Xbox Wireless “Space Jam: A New Legacy” console will be available for $69.99 with a release scheduled for July 8th while supplies last at the Microsoft Store and Amazon in the US.

Goon Squad and Serververse consoles will only be available in the US on Amazon.com (while supplies last).

The Tune Squad console will be available in July from the Microsoft Store and from third-party retailers in North America, APAC, LATAM, and EMEA. It is the only one of the three that will be available in France, and in very limited quantities on Microsoft Store and Amazon.fr.
