World Cup 2023 – Semi-Final: New Zealand defeats Argentina (44-6) and will play the fifth final

A demonstration and a final: The All Blacks are more in their element than ever. New Zealand swept Argentina (6-44) in the first semi-final of the 2023 Rugby World Cup on Friday evening at the Stade de France. An encounter that was dominated by Ian Foster’s men from start to finish. The black wave swept through the brave and generous Argentines, but not to the same extent. On Saturday, October 28, the three-time world champions will meet the winner of the confrontation between England and South Africa.

It was a perfect evening for the All Blacks in steamboat mode. After killing the match and knockout. Argentines Immediately after the break, Ardie Savea’s teammates played rugby. Ian Foster even allowed himself intense training to stay organized before the final. Evidence of unparalleled dominance, after seven attempts the score was zero.

“We had to get our necks wet, but the World Cup continues.”

Ten minutes to warm up, then the black team came out

After a rather shy ten minutes, the New Zealand machine sprang into action. Conquering super-dominants (invulnerable to touch, devastating in melee), the three-time World Champions pull off all their feats with exciting offensive versatility. The two strikers were both luxury strikers, but also clear strikers as they played out from the back and offered Will Jordan his first try of the game (11th).

Like a winger, Shannon Frizell comes to conclude a move at the end of the line…and walks as if to show that there is control and control on the break (6-20). After returning from the locker room, Beauden Barrett and company moved forward to seal the game for good. With plenty of work by veterans like Emperor Samuel Whitlock in contact and Aaron Smith able to score his own try (42nd) on another giant ball carried by his forwards.

Brave but… Argentina is limited

After an illegible and far from technical last 20 minutes for the rest of the match – not counting Will Jordan’s achievement and the comeback from 80 meters to score his hat-trick (74th) – the Pumas did everything in their power to salvage the honour. Starting from 22 metres, Nicolas Sanchez and his team ended up crashing into the black wall, one time out of thousands during the semi-final.

Argentina had the best start in this match, being generous despite the attacking animations severely lacking in originality. The South Americans gave their all, but they often ended up giving up defensively and were subject to penalties. Or in attack, either via a loose ball or a scratch by the hungry New Zealanders. These blacks were hungry and were being served. Royal Road before a big plot and a new ending. Perhaps this is the historic fourth title.
