Women’s XV – England defeats New Zealand to win the first edition of the competition

England won the first edition of the Women’s XV Championship. The Red Roses dominated their home court and beat the New Zealanders at home by a score of 33-12.

First forever! The English won the first edition of Women XV, the new competition created by World Rugby. After beating the Australians 42-7 and the Canadians 45-12, the Red Roses beat the Black Fearns. The English started the match strongly, taking the score to 19-0 after 24 minutes of play.
