It is often said that experience makes the difference! Brody Retallick, 32, is a perfect guide. With over 100 caps under his belt, the New Zealander was a key player in his team’s 2015 World Cup victory. And he intends to do it again in France!
Brodie Retallick, an exceptional second row, began his career in 2012 with the Hawke’s Bay franchise. His imposing height of 2.04 meters and weight of 120 kilograms make him a formidable opponent in the contact stages. Possessing incredible physical strength, he is able to disrupt opponent’s defenses and gain valuable counters for his team. Retallick made his debut for the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks, in 2012.

Revenge after the Super Rugby final
Since then, he has been an essential part of the team, contributing to numerous victories and winning several prestigious honours, including the World Cup in 2015. Upon his arrival at Chiefs (based in Hamilton) in 2012, Retallick, the Super Rugby in 2012 and 2013, they came close to finishing the year unbeaten. After losing in the final to the Crusaders (25-20), he attacked the World Cup with a strong spirit of revenge. He will then join Kobelco Steelers (Japan) at the end of the competition.
