WhatsApp Addresses Incessant Notifications With These New Features
WhatsApp, the messaging app from Meta Group, is gaining new features to reduce unnecessary notifications in your inbox.

No more spam
WhatsApp keeps getting better. After introducing a new way to sign up without a phone number, the instant messaging app is tackling a notorious problem: spam.
This feature, which is being tested in the beta version of Android 2.24.17.21, will allow users to block messages from spam or unknown numbers.

Less intrusive notifications

Now, when you tap the little reaction heart below your contacts' Stories, the action will no longer send a message. It will create a notification that is only visible to the person when they review the list of people who have viewed their Story like on Instagram.
