Pascal Wehrlein comes to guest appearances for the Formula E electric racing series on April 22 and 23 in Berlin as leader of the general standings.

Ex-Formula 1 driver Pascal Wehrlein (Wuorndorf) heads out in the overall standings to make a guest appearance in the Formula E electric racing series on April 22-23 in Berlin. The Porsche driver finished seventh in the sixth race of the season in Sao Paulo and continues to lead the standings with 92 points.

Jaguar driver Mitch Evans (New Zealand) won a turbulent race with many collisions and safety car stages in front of compatriot Nick Evans (Envision Racing) and fellow Brit Sam Bird. Britain’s Jake Dennis (Avalanche Andretti), Wehrlein’s first overall pursuer until the race in Brazil, retired early after colliding with the German.

Three-time DTM champion Rene Rast (McLaren) finished ninth, and Maximilian Günther (Maserati) and Andre Lotterer (Andretti) rounded out the top ten with eleventh and twelfth respectively.

In total, Formula E will have 16 races this year, and in April they will be held on the site of the closed Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.
