Watch the Tesla Model 3 Project Highland undergo winter testing in New Zealand
Tesla is seen testing a Project Highland Model 3 Project at the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds (SHPG) in New Zealand. A photo of the car has been shared online.
Tesla is currently conducting its winter testing at SHPG, a facility in New Zealand that allows the company to test its cars during the summer months in the United States. A video of Tesla’s winter test was filmed in July at SHPG.

From the footage shared by a Tesla fan, it appears that the entire Tesla family, as well as some future vehicles, gathered at the winter test site. This includes Tesla’s Cybertruck, as well as a car that looks like the Model 3’s Project Highland unit.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Tesla released a new winter testing video in the coming months, given the vehicles on site.

Like the Highland Model 3 project units in the US, the car recently spotted at SHPG was partially covered. The car’s taillights can be seen to be similar to those of the Model 3 Project Highland unit that was spotted in the US last month.
