Already Financial Times Person of the Year
The Ukrainian president had already been awarded the honors two days earlier by the Finacial Times, which also named him Person of the Year.
“The 44-year-old Zelensky, considered by many Ukrainians before the February invasion to be a bit of a joke, an amateur struggling to rise to the challenge of high office, has earned a place in history with his extraordinary leadership and courage,” wrote The Financial Times.
