Deputy State Auditor General Hà Thi My Dung worked April 17 in Wellington, New Zealand with New Zealand’s Comptroller and Auditor General John Ryan as part of her visit to New Zealand.

State Audit Vietnam (SAV) and State Audit New Zealand shared their experience and solutions to improve audit quality during a recent working session between Deputy Minister Auditor General Ha Thi Mae Dong and New Zealand Comptroller and Auditor General John Ryan, as part of his visit to the Prime Minister in New Zealand.

The Director appreciated Audit New Zealand’s contributions as a member of international organizations such as the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), the Peaceful Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI) and the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).

Hà Thi My Dung has appreciated New Zealand’s audit contributions as a member of international organizations such as the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), the Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI) and the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).

She also commended his support for SAV in the process of participating in multilateral organizations such as INTOSAI and ASOSAI, especially when it hosted SAV 14H ASOSAI Association and served as President of ASOSAI during the period 2018-2021.

SAV wishes to further promote bilateral cooperation activities; Promote exchanges and exchange of experiences; Organizing joint seminars to exchange and exchange professional experiences in the field of auditing, especially public procurement auditing and environmental auditing.

He also wishes to receive support from Audit New Zealand for his candidacy to fill a seat on the ASOSAI Audit Committee for the period 2024-2027 in the 16th session.H ASOSAI Association said in 2024.

John Ryan welcomed the SAV delegation, and informed the guests of Audit New Zealand’s development strategy in the coming years, in particular over the period 2023-2028. The New Zealand side also shared its experience in scrutinizing the implementation of the sustainable development goals.
