Two journalists arrested in Russia for working on videos for Alexei Navalny's team
The Associated Press announced on Sunday the arrest of one of its Russian collaborators, a day after the arrest of another journalist working exclusively for Reuters.

A Russian journalist was arrested in Russia on charges of “extremism” and accused of participating in the production of videos for the late opposition group Alexei Navalny, the US news agency, with which he privately cooperated, reported on Sunday. Sergei Karelin is the second journalist to be arrested on these charges, after Konstantin Gabov, who was arrested on Saturday, and who sometimes cooperated with the Canadian news agency Reuters.
Sergei Karelin and Konstantin Gabov were accused of participating in the preparation of videos for the NavalnyLIVE YouTube channel of the team of Alexei Navalny, who died in prison in February under mysterious circumstances.
