The second trailer for Makoto Shinkai’s new anime – PattoTV

celebrated last week Suzume Directed by Makoto Shinkai, it made its international premiere at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale 2023). Before the new anime hits domestic cinemas as of April, Crunchyroll recently released a second trailer for German OmU (see below).

Script and idea Suzume It was written by Makoto Shinkai, while Masayoshi Tanaka was responsible for character design, and Kenichi Tsuchiya served as animation director. CoMix Wave Films produced the film in association with Story Inc.
The new animated film, Shinkai, premiered in Japan on November 11, 2022 and has so far grossed 13.93 billion yen (about 96.7 million euros) at the Japanese box office. The international premiere outside of Asia took place on February 23, 2023, at the 2023 Berlinale.

That’s what it’s about Suzume no Tojimari:
The story revolves around Suzume, a 17-year-old girl from a quiet town in Kyushu, who meets a young man who is looking for a door. You will find a door in the ruins of a mountain, which Suzume will open. Soon more doors will open all over Japan, bringing disasters from the other side.
