Invitation to projects

On November 15, Bordeaux Metropole will gather the mayors of the agglomeration on the topic. Cultural and sports federations in their municipalities will be invited to propose animation projects. “On the Rugby World Cup, sporting values, environmental values ​​and social commitment,” Brigitte Bloch, Vice President in charge of events outlines. The total budget will approach 300,000 euros. Amateur rugby clubs have already been contacted. “We’re going to start a program with associations that work with people in precarious situations,” adds Mathieu Hazward, a sports assistant for the City of Bordeaux, who will establish the rugby village in Saint-Michel Sports Park.
