The Jeanne-Boisvinet School in Savonnières is setting up a digital workspace.

The last town hall before the start of the school year in September was held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in the Savonnière town hall. There were about ten debates on the agenda, so the town hall only lasted an hour and a half.

Before the agenda really began, the mayor flashed back to the evening of June 19, when the storm hit the region. That evening, after a power outage, several torrents of mud flowed onto the road. Some homes were flooded. Natalie Savatton explained that stormwater management is the responsibility of the City of Metropolis. However, the municipality’s water tanks and cleaning operations will have to be reviewed.

Then, debts that could not be recovered, despite numerous reminders, were classified as worthless. Sometimes rounding (from one to eight cents) was included. All this amounted to 333.73 euros.

In addition, a grant request was submitted to the State under the Green Fund for the energy renewal of the school group. It amounts to 59.34% of the compensable amount of 569,553 euros, or 338,000 euros. The same request was then submitted to Tours Métropole Val de Loire for an amount of 55,626 euros. This amount will go to the development and security of the L'Auverdière road.

Connecting teachers, students and parents

An agreement has been signed to deploy the Digital Workspace (ENT) at Jeanne-Boisvinet Elementary School. This is a set of digital services and resources accessible online to all parents and teachers.

The partners' prices for the Biennale of Painting and Sculpture were then determined, so that they could cash the checks presented. It was noted that the income from last May's edition was around 2,500 euros, to which must be added the support of 800 euros from the Ministry.

The floor was then given to Ms. Evelyne Mondon Delafosse, Assistant in charge of Culture and Human Resources. She mentioned several job creations. However, she clarified that these were changes in tasks or positions. The number of municipal employees remains constant.
