An identity activist linked to the worst of the movement before being associated with several elected officials of the European far right, the young man is embroiled in a broad case related to Russian interference in Brussels institutions. Libby reconstructed his journey.
The life of Guillaume Bradura, successively far-right activist, junior hand of the National Front in the south and parliamentary assistant to far-right MEPs, is full of scandals. And last but not least: the Belgian judiciary and many European intelligence services suspect him of involvement in a wide-ranging case related to Russian interference in European institutions.
This film “Russiagate” is based on an investigation conducted by the Czech intelligence services. Since March, they have suspected that one of the media outlets set up in the country, Voice of Europe, was serving and broadcasting Kremlin propaganda. Above all, he paid off some of the elected officials who interviewed him so they could spread the good word to Moscow and use their influence in the European Parliament. On May 17, the site was blocked by the authorities in Brussels, which disqualified it “Propaganda tool.” After becoming inaccessible, the voice of Europe moved to Central Asia.
Among the MEPs who spoke on the podium were National Rally member Patricia Chagnon and pro-Russophile Thierry Mariani, as well as German MP Peter Bystron.
