Takuma Sato signs with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2023 –
The Chip Ganassi Racing Honda N°11 tandem is complete. While New Zealander Marcus Armstrong is confirmed to participate in all urban and road rounds, Japan’s Takuma Sato has been chosen to replace him on the oval throughout the 2023 season.
With 7 seasons in Formula 1 (from 2002 to 2008), 13 in IndyCar (Since 2010) Capped off with 6 wins, 14 podiums and 10 pole positions, Nippon has been the standings man for the USA team and is a 14-time IndyCar World Champion: “ It’s a great opportunity to have Takuma Sato in our No. 11 oval car in 2023.says Mike Hull, General Manager of Chip Ganassi Racing.
