SALES LA SOURCE. Jean-Claude Garrigo’s conference will be followed with Science en Aveyron
The conference, with a presentation session, “Le Créneau and the Causse Comtal. The abundance and fragility of water”, presented by Jean-Claude Garrigo at the village hall of Salles-la-Source on 24 June, organized by the associations “Ranimons la Cascade” and “Comité Causse Comtal”. It will have a sequel planned now, with the same spokes. It will be a new service that will be called “Sales-la-Source. When the water plays with the rock to form the landscape”.
It will be organized by Science en Aveyron, on the occasion of the Fête de la Science 2022, on Friday 7 October, at 8:30 pm, in Rodez, at a location to be confirmed later. In this second conference, it will be a question of approaching the magic of water in relation to rocks and carbon dioxide.
In general, this year’s science festival will deal with the proposed national theme, “Climate change mitigation and adaptation”. It will take place in Rodez and throughout the department between October 10-14, 2022.
Climate change is a hot topic that raises many questions. But what does science say about this? All over the world, scientists are studying the climate, trying to predict its future development and consequences.
During the organized events, researchers, professors, scientific moderators and enthusiasts will welcome the public to better understand climate change and its impacts. It will also be possible to discuss how to mitigate the effects of climate change and how to adapt to it.
