Saint-Palais: launch of the 2024 cultural season at Espace with your own hands
In the “Chemins d'art” room, 16 artists participate (painters, pastel painters, etc.)
In the “Chemins d'art” room, 16 artists (illustrators, pastel painters, illustrators, graphic designers, illustrators, portrait painters or sculptors) skillfully combine their talents to present a unique group exhibition called “Gune'Art”.
In the “Paths of Knowledge” room, carte blanche was given to Artizar, Milla Color and the Loisirs et Amitiés art workshop.
Basque in Australia
Espace Bideak is also hosting, in partnership with the Basque Studies Association (Eusko Ikaskuntza), from Friday 5 April to Wednesday 24 April, the traveling exhibition “Basque in Australia”. The latter evokes the Australian diaspora by addressing different fields or themes through ten paintings.
In this context, the representative of the Basque House in Sydney, Esther Kurta, will speak on Friday, April 12, from 6:30 pm in the hall, about the history of the Australian diaspora. A documentary will then be screened to learn more about the Basques in Australia.
Finally, from Friday, April 5 to Saturday, April 20, present with your own hands the exhibition “Natur(e)(s)”, the result of the collaboration between ceramic artist Eliane Monin and the CHAAP class (Class with Flexible Schedule in Plastic Arts) of Amicuz Middle School, so that students They can customize their world and create their own sculptures.

Show for young audiences on Saturday, April 6
The Bedik Cultural Space will host two performances on Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. of the play “Tinka.” Created by Arancha Hirigoyen and Philippe Albor for children, this performance combines music, poetry, mime, singing, and the theater of objects and emotions.
