Rod Stewart was a huge fan of the Glasgow Celtic football team. In order to always carry the club at hand, the musician now has a new symbol of love.
The superstar is always happy to prove that world superstar Sir Rod Stewart has been an ardent football fan since childhood. After all, as a teenager, he once wanted to be a professional soccer player, but eventually found that his talent was better in the recording studio than on the field. To this day, that hasn’t affected his love for Scottish club Celtic Glasgow, as the star now shows on his official Instagram account: his left shoulder now has a large tattoo in honor of the club.
Stewart got the Celtic crest in an unusual spot, revealing in the caption to the post: “I get a ‘Glasgow Celtic’ tattoo in Auckland to celebrate my beloved team.” You are in my heart” is also a quote from one of his hits in the world. Appropriately, he wore an eye-catching chain for the occasion, which featured a cloverleaf next to the word ‘Celtic’.

The fact that he got token love in New Zealand has something to do with his current “The Hits” world tour. There the end of his stay in Australia took place, after which he would go to Mexico, Canada and the USA, among other places. He even performed at his New Zealand concert with some background singers in team colors and club T-shirts.
