OFFICIAL: CA Brive recruits inaugural New Zealand player!
The CA Brive captains announced Tuesday that they are recruiting a player for the upcoming season.
Indeed, New Zealand opener Jackson Garden-Pashop has signed up for Corizen.
The 28-year-old has signed a two-year contract with CAB, which runs until June 2025.
Didier Vaugeron, Sports Coordinator of CA Brive speaks after this announcement:
“Jackson Garden-Patch has just won the National Championship with Wellington. Whether in the New Zealand Championship or in Super Rugby, he has played many high level matches while playing with world class players like Beauden Barrett. He will bring all his experience to the team.”
Xavier Ric, the club’s general manager, responded to this arrival:
“Jackson Garden-Pashop has been one of the players targeted and monitored by our recruitment unit for a long time. We are delighted that he has agreed to join us to strengthen our joint and take on this new challenge at Correez. His experience and talent will be an important asset to the team next season.”
The author of more than 700 points with the Lions during his career, he won the title of New Zealand champion last October, the first for Wellington in 22 years. He scored 13 points in that final victory over Canterbury.
