Nvidia will be preparing two massive graphics cards that take up to 4 slots and 800 watts

While gamers await more affordable cards with the RTX 50 and RTX 60 versions of the Ada Lovelace architecture, it’s the exceptional graphics card that’s making headlines again: the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti.

It is Kopite7kimi that strikes again announcing the characteristics of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. The GPU will be the same as used by the GeForce RTX 4090, but with a few more units: +11% Cuda units and +33% L2 cache. Memory size remains unchanged, 24GB of GDDR6x on a 384-bit bus, and speed may reach 24Gb/s, instead of 21Gb/s.

On the energy envelope side, the card proves to be much better. We’re talking about a total envelope of 600 watts, which is the max for Nvidia’s 16-pin connector. The GeForce RTX 4090 has 450 watts by default, with the ability to push its shell to 600 watts if needed.

The return of the GeForce Titan?

There was also talk of another model, the GeForce Titan. Thus came images of a model wearing a light gold body and occupying 4 slots. The GeForce Titan will come with the same specifications as the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, with no less than 48GB of GDDR6x video memory. A dual 16-pin power connector is mentioned to power the beast, whose thermal envelope hits 800W.
