Safran Helicopter Engines has signed a contract with the New Zealand Defense Force to support the Royal New Zealand Air Force’s NH90s. This long-term hourly support contract covers maintenance, repair and inspection services for a total of 21 RTM322 engines.

This contract will be managed by Safran Helicopter Engines Australia, in Sydney, which monitors more than 200 flight operators in the Pacific Islands (Papua New Guinea, French Polynesia), Australia and New Zealand.

SBH maintenance with hourly service by Safran Helicopter Engines provides visibility into engine operating costs and streamlines financial flows, while making scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations more flexible. Today, SBH service covers 50% of the flight hours of Safran helicopter engines.
