New Exploration Film Documents Research Trip to Hot Springs Off New Zealand – FONA
The leader, Professor Dr. Andrea Koczynski from Jacobs University Bremen, summed up the highlights of the voyage. The teamwork on board was also special: “We rely on each other here, great communities are formed, and we support each other tremendously,” says Koczynski. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports marine research on board the research vessel SONNE in the “Research for Sustainable Development (FONA)” programme. The Federal Ministry of Research is also the owner of SONNE and makes it available to science for ocean research.
