Lepetitjournal.com is back in Auckland!
Welcome everyone to the new edition of lepetitjournal.com in Auckland!
Created in 2001 by Hervé Herod, lepetitjournal.com quickly became the go-to media for French-speaking diaspora and French-speaking expatriates. It is an independent, free online general public daily newspaper, now present in 73 cities around the world and has more than 110,000 active subscribers to its newsletter.
The Auckland edition, which will reopen in September, is an opportunity to give a voice to a young and dynamic community of French expatriates in New Zealand. Today there are approximately 5,000 French people registered with the embassy in the country (estimated at 9,000). The majority of the French community (50%) is located in the Auckland metropolitan area, the country’s economic capital, followed by Wellington and its region, the administrative capital. The French presence in New Zealand, within the economic fabric, is ensured by approximately 70 establishments of French companies in almost all sectors of activity: tourism, environment, insurance, energy, agri-food and electronics. A community full of news that will find with Lepetitjournal.com Auckland a new way to exchange and communicate.
The New Zealand edition aims to be a reference point for all French expats, who will find on the site good deals, advertising and the opportunity to form a community through social networking and organized events.
