Work on the Espace Capdevielle Fidel site has resumed and the former camp site has gradually become a play area. The pump track has been completed and is very popular with young people from Puntaco, where Guillaume Larbieu is considered the godfather.

At the moment, the work consists of equipping the old building, renovating the roof and carpentry, and it should return to service during the summer (public toilets and a refreshment bar that can be used by the municipality and associations). The throwing of stones was carried out for the first time before implementing the various applications necessary to realize the project, which aims to encourage the meeting of generations in a fun and sporting atmosphere. Excavation, turf work and installation of furniture (picnic tables, ping-pong tables, barbecues, various items of gentler and more physical gymnastics for fans of outdoor sports fields, benches, baskets, etc.) will allow the use of the facilities and are planned for next summer. A bowling alley should be attached to the back of the Pierre Lacaze Multi-Purpose Hall.

Finally, do not forget to inaugurate, on June 15, at 12 noon, a memorial plaque for the tennis courts, which will be named “Terrains Jean-Luc Canavaté” in honor of this precious friend of the ASCL (Tennis Section), who died in 2023.
