James Blake’s new album PLAYING ROBOTS INTO HEAVEN will be released on September 8th. The British musician describes his sixth album in a press release as “dance music for culture and society.” The dance tracks feature electronic sounds.
With already released singles “Loading” and “Big Hammer,” Blake provided a preview of the record. An accompanying music video was released for the latter song, directed by Oscar Hudson. The song also features English duo The Ragga Twins.
The singer-songwriter released his previous record Friends Who Break Your Heart in 2021. With the Playing Robots Into Heaven Tour, James Blake is also coming to Germany for a concert in September. He will perform at the Berlin Velodrome on September 24 before continuing his tour in Europe and North America.
