In Brest, the faculties of Le Goffic (Lannion) and Penn ar C’hleuz – (Brest) lead the ‘Do Science’ competition – Brest
After three years of absence justified by the health crisis linked to covid-19, the Faire de la Science competition is back in a big way in Brest, this Thursday, April 13, 2023. The Faculty of Sciences hosted the regional final of this event. Sponsorship of the UFRs Scientific Directors Conference (Training and Research Units), in order to support awareness of scientific research in secondary schools.

After the first selection last January, six chapters have presented their case to the jury, this Thursday, with the aim of winning the Grand Prix, and qualifying for the national final scheduled in Créteil (94) on June 2nd. It was the Charles-Le Goffic Lannion College fourth grade team that won the timpani award with their project titled “From Milk to Milk…and Beyond”.
The sixth-grade group from Penn-Ar-C’hleuz College in Brest also starred, winning the Partners’ Prize, synonymous with regional second place, with its study on “How to reduce plastic pollution inside my college?”.
