Hi-Fi RUSH Official: Bethesda’s New Xbox Game Is Now Available! | Xbox One
It was rumored for a few days that Xbox was holding a nice surprise for its conference which was originally only supposed to cover 4 games. Finally, Tango Gameworks has joined the presentations to announce its brand new game: Heavy Rush. Despite the studio’s use of horror games, Tango Gameworks decided to think outside the box.
The new game from Tango Gameworks is now available
In Hi-Fi Rush, you play Chai, a rising rock star immersed in a strange experiment. In fact, Vandelay Technologies fused his heart with a music player, making him feel the rhythm of the world around him.
So the young musician seeks to confront the giant company with the help of his guitar. The title presents itself as a mix between action and rhythm game where the player has influence over the soundtrack.
The technique and the combinations performed are superimposed to the music, giving the impression of watching a video. The art direction in cell shaders brings out this crazy side, reminiscent of the Sunset Overdrive feature.
If the idea of a rhythm game can scare some away, the developer specifies that attacks are automatically set to the beat, though it’s best to hit with a beat to achieve combos. However, there is no point in knocking on keys!
Chai is not alone in his adventure, as he can be accompanied by a Maor friend. In addition, he can rely on the presence of a mint or a macaron to break his enemies.
Finally, the title introduces boss fights designed by great artists like Nine Inch Nails, a chance to take down sectional bosses on good sound.
If you’re interested in testing all of this out, know that the title will be available in a few hours! So Hi-Fi Rush was released on Xbox Series X | S and PC, and of course in Xbox Game Pass and the PC arcade games !
