Over the past few months, rumors have swirled about Samsung’s next connected watches, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Pro – or Classic. However, while most of the rumors so far have been content to reveal some of its characteristics, German journalist Roland Quandt went a step further on Friday.

On the journalist’s Twitter site WinFuture He has already posted two images that appear to be marketing for the Galaxy Watch 6, and then the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro, before posting them online on the German site.

Rounded edge and thinner edges

These visuals allow us to spot a design that remains quite similar to previous Samsung watches, in particular with very tapered lugs that would squarely extend the case design. There’s also a rotating bezel around the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro’s face, which backs up claims that the watch will be more like the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic than the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

Additionally, the visuals also allow you to see part of the screen inside the case. As you’d expect, the bezels around this look much thinner than previous models, which points to wider width diameters for a similar overall build.

In terms of features, we knew the watches would benefit from the Exynos W930 chip and an optional 4G modem. The Galaxy Watch 6 will be offered in 40 or 44 mm while the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will benefit from 43 or 47 mm versions. All models are also entitled to a screen protected by a sapphire crystal.

As a reminder, Samsung is supposed to announce the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Pro during the month of July. We are especially expecting a formalization during the Galaxy Unpacked conference during which the manufacturer will unveil its new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
