Great cooperation potential between Can Tho and New Zealand

Can Tho announced that he intends to send a working delegation to New Zealand next September.
For her part, Jenny Chapman said that Southeast Asia in general and Vietnam in particular remain New Zealand's priorities in its foreign relations.
According to her, New Zealand in the Mekong Delta plans to implement additional cooperation activities in the agricultural sector. In addition, New Zealand hopes to establish closer ties with major research centers in Can Tho and will provide scholarships to city officials to conduct English language and other short-term training programs.
According to the Municipal Foreign Affairs Department, in 2023, Can Tho's exports to New Zealand generated US$7.91 million.
