Founding Slipknot singer Colsefni dedicates a tour to the deceased members

Anders Colviny, Slipknot’s first vocalist, dedicated this year’s tour to Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, who died in 2010, and Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, who died in 2021.

The musician tells his fans: “I would like to acknowledge the tremendous support from my fans all over the world. It is incredibly moving to know how much confidence you have had over the years. I will make you proud.”

Also: “I’m going to strive to make the group as emotionally original as possible, as it was meant to be years ago – but I’m not going to perform like the kid I used to be, I’m going to perform like I am now. After it was announced that the singer would perform Slipknot material, his replacement, Corey Taylor, took to Twitter and wrote: “I wish I could be there to see these shows but I know @anderscolsefni will rock them.”
