Forza Motorsport: Turn 10 tells us more about artificial intelligence, physics, and the lack of two modes | Xbox One
The next Forza Motorsport is definitely one of the biggest releases of this year 2023. While waiting to be able to get back on the track, Turn 10 continues to bring us new features, this time, a new monthly Forza rich in detail about the next Forza.

Concretely, the artificial intelligence in the eighth Forza Motorsport game will be particularly improved and pushed. Opponents will be smarter, more stable, and reliance on artificial speed boosts has been abandoned in favor of realism and new difficulty adjustment options for players. Turn 10 notably made it clear that compared to Forza Motorsport 7, the AI in Forza Motorsport achieved a 13-second faster time.
On the physics side, the game’s frame model has been greatly improved, going from a 60 Hz refresh rate to 360 Hz. This improvement enables 24 times higher display resolution, providing six times faster response compared to the latest opus. Turn 10 particularly demonstrates that the overall transition to the Xbox Series X | S gave them new possibilities in terms of realism of physics and handling.
However, players will definitely be disappointed to learn that the “Drift” and “Drag” game modes will not be available when Forza Motorsport launches. The developers preferred to focus on the essence of track racing to provide an immersive and authentic experience. We can lament the absence of these pre-existing modes that still offer a realistic experience while remaining eclectic, Forza DNA in a nutshell.
Finally, some snippets of the gameplay were given on the famous Kyalami circuit in South Africa and we have to admit that the sound effects do put a bit of a punch even if more must be seen before conclusions are issued.
Forza Motorsport is set to launch October 10, 2023 exclusively on Xbox Series X | S and PC plus Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
