Every Wednesday, LTC’s Espace France offers digital workshops in Trédarzec – Trédarzec
Since November 9, Lannion-Trégor Communauté has been creating digital workshops in Trédarzec. To do this, she calls one of her digital consultants from Espace France Services, Tugdual Salaün.
These workshops are held in the City Hall Assembly Hall from 2 pm to 4 pm. The aim of these workshops is to help people overcome the small daily hassles of using computers. “It is about demystifying the barriers we can have with the Internet and reducing the digital divide,” Tugdual Salaün defines.
These workshops are located in the municipalities of the region where there are no Maison France services. Tugdual Salaün operates in 23 municipalities in urban areas.
New topic every month
During this first workshop, Beatrice, Swisek and Bertrand learned to distinguish between a browser and a search engine, configure the browser and clear cookies. Every month a new topic is covered.
In December, participants will see how to make a secure online purchase, while in January, they will learn how to create and send a virtual greeting card. For Beatrice, these workshops are reassuring: “It is a plus for me. Because I am alone, I do not dare to validate certain actions on the Internet.”
Bertrand goes above and beyond: “I want to gain a little more confidence to make the best use of IT tools.”
