Espace Solidarité Aristide-Briand . inaugurated
Located at 23, Aristide-Briand Street, Solidarity Space collects and sorts tissue donations from individuals with a view to redistributing them. Offers clothes, shoes and toys. This solidarity space is for anyone who wants to donate
Or just for Chamaliéroises who are having difficulty.
Clothes washed and in good condition
Direction to the toilet workshop is given by the social worker responsible for monitoring the person. A document will be drawn up by the CCAS de Chamalières, which will allow the beneficiary to collect the package from the solidarity space. People who want to leave clothes or toys should go to the solidarity space, which may or may not accept the clothes on display. They should have been washed and in good condition and also be in sync with the times and the season.
“We have very few storage possibilities, it is highly recommended to contact CCAS before making any deposit. We also often direct to Emmaus boxes. We are not an Emmaus warehouse,” explains Mariette Lapendere, Deputy Director of CCAS de Chamalières. Attend during business hours and leave nothing in front of the door when the Solidarity space is closed. The Solidarity space welcomes people with a beneficiary card. Individuals can only donate for a restroom, and the food is managed by Town Hall.”
Please note that deposits are only during Solidarity Zone business hours.
